In 2011, Patrick went into business with his father and his brother-in-law, Ben Smith, to build their own ecommerce company and work with people they love. Almost 10 years later, the company continues to thrive and, more importantly, everyone still has Thanksgiving dinner together.
Along the way, Patrick has learned a lot about what it takes to build a successful ecommerce business and how it can't be done without keeping a finger on the pulse of the company's day-to-day profitability. When he and his partners couldn't find a tool on the market to accomplish this the right way, they built MarginDriver, a multichannel ecommerce reporting and analytics tools that provides timely and meaningful intelligence on margins and profitability while efficiently delivering the results to popular accounting software.
